A well prepared talk

By August 3, 2016 American History, Business, Heros

I am ever inspired by personalities with good oratory skills. Pakistan has polarized pluralism and it is often seen that one group tries to delimit the other.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.

- Ambrose Redmoon

Celebrities/Announcers: Zia Mohyeddin and Mustansar Hussain Tarar are all time favorite. In fact Moin Akhter (late) was none the less in serious roles.

Motivational Speakers: Through school days, dynamic people like Fahad Ali Kazmi filled the fervor. Then again at College, I got inspired from Waleed Anwer. Great at “Phuddo lagana” / “batain Ch***a” as they say. At University, I had come across many great speakers like Imran Khan, and Umair Jaliawala. These people have one common aspect which distinguishes them from other. They come prepared.

Businessmen: Good oratory always attracts. Let it be Mr. Shah Faisal Afridi President & CEO Ruba-SEZ Group or Hafiz Wihaj us Siraj from Nayatel, people with good oration have lead with great impact force. Public speaking is part of their personalities. These people just not talk to their audience, they talk with them. However, they do not try to slip a sales pitch. Their presence at stage is enough for the brand publicity.

Politicians: Lady Diana spoke well. Even in public pressure. She understood her challenging role as Princess of wales. She easily overcame her fear for this inevitable role she had to play. She discounted that she was not the all-well-versed-among the audience for the personal touch. Obama speak extraordinarily auspicious. You know why? Because he loosens up and is always revved in confidence. A politician who connects by telling personal stories is always a favorite. He pauses for a laugh. Read: PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH’S ADDRESS TO CONGRESS AND THE NATION ON TERRORISM 20 September 2001 Hillary Clinton, by far, is witty for she tells a light-hearted joke. This helps her throw some humor targeted at Donald Trump and it serves the purpose really well. The fact is that most of the crowd will be rooting for her anyway. Otherwise, they would not be there, so she is in good company.

Conclusion:You can also sound smarter by listening more than you talk, using good grammar, expand your vocabulary, read, write, defend other point of view, and occasionally admit to your mistakes. There is no shame in making mistakes as you learn. Be passionate about your message. That what makes a good mentor.
