There are several ways through which you can gain attention but going this low to get it through minds is insane. Espresso is using BMW name in their commercial with reference to Nawaz Shareef’s running over a 12 yr old boy! I hope this is not endorsed by Dewan’s and BMW. This has been retracted and Espresso been blasted for using this.
Never going to Espresso again
This is disgusting. They can keep their free cookie. They used dark humour to raise concern about an issue just like Oscar Wilde has done time & again. That doesn’t necessarily mean they were being insensitive towards it. I don’t think there’s any need for harsh conclusions like firing the manager or apologizing to the family? I’m sure the family would not be concerned about a Facebook post at this tough of a time. Lets all pray for them instead.
Espresso has hit rock-bottom
Whose bright idea was to post this? Marketing Managers have to take approvals before launching any campaigns. So this probably exchanged many hands before being posted. Their social media department needs to get canned. ESPRESSO change your Brand Mangers and Fire your marketing team right away.
Tendering an Apology
[See Header of the Post] Oh! so first you blatantly defended that sick joke and when that didn’t work THEN you decide to say sorry to save face? Sorry sir but not enough. An apology for defending that crap is also due on your end! It really was insensitive. Just because it’s all over the news doesn’t mean you can piggyback. Go apologize to the family of the young boy who was a subject of your inappropriate, inhumane and failed attempt at sarcasm. That is not misspoken. That is gross negligence and someone on your social media was defending it. Just mentioned above.
Espresso it’s good to accept your mistake. I would also suggest you have a diverse customer base, avoid politics and religion!
