Foodpanda is the Worst Pakistani Foodie Scam Ever to Exist
Why is everyone blaming Foodpanda?
Reportedly, when FORTY FIVE minutes are about to end they cancel customer’s order like it’s not a big deal.
What kind of resolution will serve the purpose when someone couldn’t get the food when he/she was hungry? They cant hold that time and hunger saved until you come up with resolution. Please work on the basics of the business model you are operating at and fix it once for all.
I wonder after tons of Bad reviews for food panda people still dare to order from them.
Why people just don’t stop ordering from Foodpanda?
Because they have a monopoly on the food delivery system in Pakistan.
We all know its a habit by several restaurants to delay our orders for no reason and in return apart from apologizing Foodpanda does not do anything. The online Foodpanda chat people is extremely unhelpful, refusing to compensate or actually help. So staggeringly incompetent.
An advice!
Not to use their online payment option, they take the money and cancel the order with no refund (Anyways). They don’t have any contact number where complaints can be registered and follow up can be taken.
If you have made an online payment and your goods/services are not delivered within the agreed time VISA and MasterCard all provide you the right to proceed a charge back against the merchant for not providing goods & services within the time committed. You are eligible for a full refund in this scenario. The charge back code for each card is below:
Visa Charge back Code:
- 53 - Not as described or defective (if your food is defective or not as expected)
- 30 - Not provided or Not delivered in agreed time.
MasterCard Charge back Code:
- 53 - Not as described or defective (if your food is defective or not as expected)
- 55 / 59 - Not provided or Not delivered in agreed time.
To do these charge-back just call your bank ask them to dispute the transaction as per the above charge-back codes and that’s all.
If Foodpanda can not provide evidence that the product was delivered on time or was not defective, your charge-back will be successful.
Considering that online merchants don’t listen anymore I believe this is the only way to get our rights back if we have made a payment online for an order!
FOODPANDA is scam!!!! The saying goes once bitten twice shy!
P.S. Few rider alternatives: Cheetay, Russh Delivery, Deliveroo. Road Runner, TCS Hazir, Bykea, and Foodible.
Thats helpful since i have experienced it myself on many occasions. This one time i refused to pay when the order was delayed and the admin of the restaurant agreed bit then they told me that they will charge the poor rider so I payed
